BatsBats are skillful, willful creatures They're so scary they make people screechers But as far as I know, bats are really great They come out only when it is lateBats
They're in caves and barns and sometimes a steeple
And they have bony fingers much like people They eat fruit, they eat bugs, they eat frogs and fish And vampire bats think blood's a great dish
Finding a cave with hibernating bats is rare And if you find one you should exercise care Because everytime they're disturbed They use some of their fat So if it's done too often there will be fewer bats
